About Next Level Basketball
Next Level Basketball has been operating since 2013 in the South Florida area. From the beginning, our goal was to develop a systematic approach to basketball player development. In this approach, we have cultivated a culture that aims to promote structure and intensity, as opposed to a recreational one. Our goal is to develop basketball players and people, which we think our regimen does. Our goal isn’t to offer training alone, but a holistic experience of development.

In addition to developing the sharpest analysis possible for the game of basketball, our organization informs itself with the literature in sports science and sports analytics. Next Level Basketball is also in the process of developing its own theoretical, methodological and scientific contributions to the areas of sports science and sports analytics.
Shooting
Coaching shooting is one example of how we approach player development. We employ cutting edge technology in order to analyze data that reveals a players shooting arc, depth and accuracy. More importantly, our certified trainers can teach shooting biomechanics from the ground up, or suggest methods to improve these biomechanics in a player who already has some good habits.
Our feedback is based on academic papers on biomechanics and shooting, as well as the judgment we have from experience. Successfully shooting a basketball may not look the same for everyone, but we strongly believe the combination of tools we use to analyze and coach shooting will provide improvement for everyone at every level.

Basketball Specific Performance
We evaluate every basketball player we see for muscle imbalances and weaknesses that could lead to compensation, therefore increasing risk for injury and potential for peak performance. This analysis is based on our research on the most important strength and mobility factors for basketball players. Players are re-evaluated periodically to track progress. This provides us a foundation to begin to develop players.
